T.I. 2 the Rescue
A man was threatening to jump off a building in downtown Atlanta yesterday afternoon. It was the same building that the radio show V103 is based.
So the radio station mentioned the situation & Clifford "T.I." Harris was listening. Then he called to see if there was anything he could do
T.I. ended up coming over, he met with cops and recorded a video message that cops played for the potential jumper.
After the man saw the vid he stepped down from the ledge and him and T.I. met in the lobby, where they talked things out.

Macgruber - Review 2 stars (Average)
Macgruber is a film based off the Saturday Night Live skit of the same name lol. Macgruber is a highly decorated military specialist, his area of expertise is bomb dis-arming and creating weapons out of everyday items lol. The film and skit is like a comical mockery of the Macgyver TV show.
In the film, Macgruber is one of those characters who has the best record, the most medals, but cant do any thing right! lol If he does solve a crime or save the day, everything goes wrong first lol.
The story starts with the gov't locating Macgruber in this small village where he is in solitude. They need him to come back from retirement to battle his nemesis who has returned to wreak destruction. Macgruber comes back assembles his team and comedy ensues!! There are some hilarious moments, that had me NEAR tears lol.
The film stars John Forte and Kristen Wiig from SNL, with Val Kilmer and Ryan Phillipe. The cast powered the movie, Wiig had a great performance as the character she perfected on SNL. Forte did well as his SNL character, he was risk taking lol (you have to see the movie to understand). Kilmer did a good job as the bad guy in a comedy, he was out of his element but he did well. Phillipe did his part but there's something about him thats just dull. I know his character is a by the book army man, but his performance was too stiff-like. Although he had a scene where he did something ridiculous with a celery stalk.
In conclusion, I give this character driven comedy... 2 Stars

The Losers - Review(late) 2.5 Stars
The Losers is a movie based on the graphic novel of the same name. The film is starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen), Idris Elba (Obsessed, Rock N Rolla), Columbus Short, Zoe Saldana, and Chris Evans.
In the film there are 5 U.S. mercenary-like soldiers, the Losers, who are doing surveillance on this jungle camp. The people in the camp are bad-men that are to be wiped out. The mercenaries notice children are being held there, but an air strike was already called in. Due to corruption the strike could not be recalled and the mercenaries save the kids before disaster. After they save the kids a hit is put on the mercenaries and the kids by the same people responsible for the strike. The kids are blown up in a rescue helicopter, the mercenaries were not on the copter. So knowing that they were meant to die they threw their tags in the fiery wreckage to fake their death. Eventually a woman appears who can help find the man behind their attempted assassination. So they set off to find, stop, and kill the man/men responsible.
I liked the movie's story, but in the end one of the Losers betrays the rest of his compadres. He had his reasons, but I've seen that so often in movies that I now take a little credit from the story. It ends how you would expect it to; it leaves room for there to be follow up films.
The action in this move is above-average. I would give it a 3 out of 4 (the action). Explosions throughout the film, good fights, bulls-eye marksmanship lol. The film didn't have a big budget, but yet the effects looked pretty good.
The cast played their roles. It wasn't exactly award winning material and performances, but solid for the film and the genre. Zoe Saldana is a woman who wields weapons with big dogs lol.
In conclusion, I give this film ... 2.5 Stars

Iron Man 2 - Review (late) 2.5 Stars
In the sequel to the much loved and successful 1st Iron Man movie, Tony Starks finds himself slowly dying from the energy source in his chest. He's getting poisoned from it and at the same time its what keeping him alive! In this movie he has just admitted to the world that he is Iron Man and is basking in the fame. So with the mix of him dying, the gov't trying to get their hands on the Iron Man technology, and the evil he has to face Tony Stark is struggling to control it all. One great addition to the sequel is War Machine, Tony Stark's partner in battle, controlled by one of his closest friends Rhodey, who's a military man.
Robert Downey Jr. plays Tony Stark, he's a great actor who has been making his comeback to the movie world these last 3-4 years. His performance in this movie was average for him. So he was good, but I felt he could have done better. I kept thinking Tony Stark was experiencing the early stages of Parkinson's lol. Downey Jr was a little on the fidgety side. The character seemed to have ADD and I couldnt understand his speech at times, he was speaking some of his words to fast. But like I said It was a good performance, it was just only average for him.
One other aspect I liked was the connection thats forming with the Marvel universe! They're prepping the Avengers, so we're starting to see Iron Man, Hulk and others intertwine.
In this connection, Samuel L Jackson will play Nick Fury. He made his appearance in Iron Man 2, he is signed to do 9 films in total as Nick Fury. From what I saw in Iron Man 2, Sam Jack has to tone it down lol. I know he's a loud actor, he's loud in all his movies, but Fury should be the strong silent type. A guy who says whats needed and I would like to see him be more serious.
Also in the film, Black Cat was introduced and in the film she was powerless, just a skilled fighter. But from what I know of Black Cat she has above average strength and is a high flying act. I would have liked to see her appear in Spider-man, Dare Devil, or Captain America before Iron Man!
IN CONCLUSION, MY RATING SYSTEM FOR SUPER-HERO/COMIC BOOK MOVIES HAS BEEN GREATLY AFFECTED DUE TO THE BRILLIANT FILM "THE DARK KNIGHT" (BATMAN IS KING). IT WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE, SO I GIVE IRON MAN 2 A.. 2.5
